Pirates in Paradise 2008 - Key West, Fl
Extra Page: The First Battle
The first battle was with the British in the fort and the pirates and the Schooner Wolf outside trying to take them. This particular battle went to the British. Here are some shots of it.

Above are a series of photos from the pirate part of the battle which I fondly call "Dork with a Flag". Iron Nigel (the guy with the cannon) ordered me to take up the colors when the flag he brought fell over. So that's what I did. (In this battle, no one fell down and cried piteously for the ship's surgeon. What else did I have to do?) That's Scarlett Jai working with Nigel on the cannon.

Above are some close-ups of various folks in action during the battle. From left: First: Mark Gist from the Pirates of the Scioto in Columbus. Next: Madam Grace with a funny sort of weapon - sure packs a punch though, doesn't it? Next: M.A. d'Dogge hanging with the British taunting the pirates. Last: Chrispy triumphant!
